Sleepy Sun is a casual game made by Pine Creative. This page explains, in plain language, what the game stores and shares. It covers the web version at sleepysun.pine-creative.com and the iOS and Android apps.

No accounts

There is no sign-up or login. We don't ask for your name, email address or any other contact details to play.

Your progress stays on your device

Your progress (best score, level, stardust, settings, daily results and streak) is saved only on your device (in the browser's local storage, or the app's equivalent). It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data or deleting the app removes it.

Ads

The web version shows no ads.

The iOS and Android apps offer optional rewarded video ads from Google AdMob, for example to revive once or to double a reward. Ads only play when you tap to watch one. Before the first ad, the app asks for your consent where the law requires it (and, on iPhone, shows Apple's tracking prompt). With your consent, Google may use device identifiers to show and measure ads. Learn how Google uses information: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Analytics

The game sends anonymous gameplay events to improve it (for example, that a run ended, its length and score, or that a result was shared). They carry no account, name, email, device ID or advertising ID: only the game version, the platform (web, iOS or Android), the day you first played and, from the network, your country. We never sell this data.

Sharing

When you share a score, clip or challenge link, you choose where it goes using your device's share sheet. Challenge links contain only a game seed and a score.
